How to select of gantry cranes?
Five criteria for the selection of gantry cranes
（1）Selection of single girder gantry crane and double girder gantry crane
Usually weight below 50 tons, the span of less than 35 meters, there is no special use requirements, should choose a single girder type. If you need the width of the door legs, work efficiency is higher, or often lifting heavy pieces, long pieces, should choose double beam gantry crane.
(2) Span and cantilever length
The span of gantry crane is important factor affecting the quality of the crane itself. In the selection, in order to meet the conditions of use equipment and meet the requirements of the span series standards, should try to reduce the span.
(3) The principle of determining wheel track
- To meet the stability requirements of the gantry along the crane track
- Dimension of goods can be smoothly through the legs of flat steel
- Pay attention to track B and S proportional relationship, general track B= (1/4? 1/6) S
(4) Determination of gantry crane spacing
In the work, there must be some space between the external dimensions of the gantry crane and the goods and vehicles in the yard, in order to facilitate loading and unloading operations. General transportation vehicles within the span of loading and unloading, the door should be kept with the legs over a 0.7m interval. When the sling not working there should be more than 0.5m spacing and transport vehicles, cargo window legs, should be more than 0.5m spacing.
